American False Hellebore
This plant was found in the MullaN pass are in the late summer of 2022

Chocolate Lily
These are fun to find, but easy to overlook. Pretty reliably along the Emmet’s Ridge trail. Their seedpods are a bit more obvious and, once you recognize them you realize this flower is pretty widespread- just really hard to see.

Green Gentian, Elkweed or Monument Plant
This are so cool- they grow underground for up to 80- years, then spend two to three years above ground. Once they get to this stage, they will flower and die. Some of them get to be 4 feet tall.

Milkweed, Green
This one was along the trail on the Mike Cormier/Eric Feaver trail just below the quarry in late June of 2024.

Western Coneflower
This was in the Hyalite Canyon Area in 2022. I found several more plants in 2023 in a nearby area- also in Hyalite.

Winterfat
This grows all over along the lower, sunny slopes of Mt Helena on north-east side.
